I am asking
Samael Aun Weor was talking about transforming impressions
but my personal experience is that self-observation is like awareness and not being attached to it but doesn't give direct knowledge but lessens the impressions and transforms them positively
While through my personal experience, we now transform the impression better through meditation(being aware, seeing the chains of events in thoughts, emotions, and actions in relation to the ego seen)
My question
Is self-observation like a weaker degree of transformed or transforming impressions? And is meditation like a more profound way to transform impressions?
Can someone shed more light on this

Did you know that you already begin to digest food in your mouth (through saliva)? And then the food will be thoroughly digested in you stomach and later one more time in the intestine? In the same manner you also digest the impressions throughout the different stages that you have described. And all of them together form the transformation of impressions.
